About Salon Cool
Salon Cool is a salon for kids of all ages. We specialize in kids haircuts because we enjoy the challenges and rewards of working with kids.
Your kids' haircuts matter to us. Attention to detail is important. We customize haircuts to suit each individuals' needs. Although, the majority of the clients get their hair blow dried before leaving the salon, we realize that most of them will not be doing this so we strive to cut it so that it will still look good drying on its own.
In the waiting area there are toys, books and magazines to entertain. During the haircut, the younger kids can sit in a VW Beetle and play with toys and/or watch a video, and the older kids can sit in a regular salon chair and can chose to play video games if they'd like.
You are welcome to just stop by and shop. Salon Cool has the best selection of hair accessories, ever-changing unique gifts, natural organic lice repelling haircare products and safe pesticide-free, do-it-yourself lice treatments that work.

From 15th Ave. NW, turn west onto Market St. Go one long block and turn right at the traffic light, which is 17th Ave. NW. The salon is 1/2 block on the west side of 17th.
Parking - You can park in our fenced-in parking lot next to the building. Enter the lot from 56th Ave. NW. You can park anywhere in the lot; just not in the 6 spaces closest to the building that have signs posted, "Ballard Realty employees only."
