About Salon Cool
Salon Cool is a salon for kids of all ages. It was designed with an atomosphere so they feel neither too young nor too old to be there. There are 2 stylists, each with 20+ years experience, the majority of those years specializing in kids haircuts. Even though Salon Cool is only 5 years young, a large number of the clientele have followed the stylists from other establishments since they were very little and have continued coming until it's time to go away to college. There are even a few in college who continue to come see us.
Your kids' haircuts matter to us. Attention to detail is important. We customize haircuts and sometimes break the rules of haircutting and make up our own techniques if that's what it takes to get the hair to look right. Although, the majority of the clients get the hair blow dried before leaving the salon, we realize that most of them will not be doing this so we strive to cut it so that it will still look good drying on its own.
In the waiting area there are toys, books and magazines to entertain. During the haircut, the younger kids can sit in a VW Beetle and play with toys and the older kids can sit in a regular salon chair and can chose to play video games if they'd like.
You are welcome to just stop by and shop. Salon Cool has the best selection of hair accessories, ever-changing unique gifts, natural organic lice repelling haircare products and safe pesticide-free do-it-yourself lice treatments that work.

Parking - You can park in the fenced-in parking lot next to the building. We have no signage up yet and the parking lot just says Ballard Realty, but you can park in the lot; just not in the 6 spaces closest to the building that have signs posted, "Ballard Realty employees only."
